This scholarship to next year’s camp will be awarded to the official that demonstrates a love of the game, positive attitude and excellent teamwork. It is named after a proud Arkansas native, Bobby Charles Marsh.
Bobby Charles Marsh was born in Plainview, Arkansas. He grew up in Russellville, Arkansas and was a graduate of L.W. Sullivan High School in Morrilton, Arkansas. “BC” as he was affectionately called passed away on January 5, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoyed sports and travel, and during his 26-year Naval career officiated basketball during his tours in Adak, Alaska and the Philippines.
BC instilled the love of sports, education and teamwork in his five children. This scholarship serves as a small tribute to BC by his five children that includes current PAC-12 and former SWAC Football Official, Mike Marsh.
